About the Owner/Director

Hello, my name is Jena Gile, Owner and Director of Connections Employment Services. I have more than 16 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and supporting people with a wide range of strengths, needs, and goals. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping individuals build confidence, develop independence, and achieve meaningful success within their communities.

My background includes working as a special education teacher with students of varying levels of support needs. Through this experience, I developed a strong commitment to person-centered support and the importance of recognizing each individual’s unique abilities, interests, and potential. I believe meaningful employment can create confidence, independence, and opportunity, and I am dedicated to helping individuals find work that is both successful and fulfilling.

In addition to my experience in special education, I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and provide dyslexia therapy for individuals with dyslexia. This background has strengthened my understanding of individualized learning, communication, advocacy, and accommodations, all of which are important in supporting successful employment outcomes.

At Connections Employment Services, I am committed to partnering with individuals, families, and employers to create supportive, community-based employment opportunities. My approach focuses on building strong relationships, understanding each person’s goals and strengths, and providing individualized support that promotes long-term success and independence.
